September 3, 2023 MLB Baseball Betting Cards details:
Yesterday was a 3-3 day, good enough for some profit. The Rockies finally won a game, the first time it seems in a long time. I’ve got to go back to August 19, 9 games bet prior to yesterday’s to find the last win for them.
Running a big card today, there are 7 qualified games.
Also I may have a big change upcoming to the model if I can prove out the backtesting. Yesterday was a big slate of College Football and my card did pretty well with the spread bets. I’ve realized that I’ve never considered the run line this season. I need to do some serious backtesting, but if I can prove it out to be profitable I’d like to include run lines bets as a way to up the MLB action each day and get some favorites back on the card.
There are no changes to the model here, but it’s just an idea that I came up with that will need to be tested.
Unit Size:
- The current bet size is currently at 3 units with a churn level at 38.5 games today.
- The bankroll range is 90-140 before the next unit reset.
