July 23, 2023 MLB Baseball Betting Cards details:
No changes to model today. The value is there, just need to catch a lucky break where the card wins half the games or more.
I know I said yesterday it would be a rare occurence when games exceed the eROI cutoff, but again we have another one. This time it’s Colorado again this weekend in Miami, there is extreme value at +240 being offered as they have a shot at a road sweep.
- Fanduel has been providing the big lines on underdogs this weekend as the other 4 books I use were spread between +210 & +230 on this game.
- This averages out to +225 which translates to an eROI of 37%, placing the game just under the HOT! criteria cutoff of 40%.
- This worked out yesterday as Baltimore held on to convert the Forced bet for 6 units.
- Although I blame the odd decision for the team to trade for Fujinami as making it shakier than it needed to be. Fujinami has gone two straight so I really like the BAL bet today with him likely out of the picture today.
