August 4, 2023 MLB Baseball Betting Cards details:
No changes to the model today.
The losing streak continues. I tried to blow up the model, but nothing new was sticking that seemed like a better leap from the current model based on backtested data since May.
There is one small change I settled on that will wait until tomorrow’s card to be implemented as it’s inapplicable today. It involves Oakland as they’ve been the biggest bane this week dropping 3 bets this week against the Dodgers. And as luck would have it, they are part of the one pairing not playing today.

- Threshold of 4 games (25%) minimum will be bet

- The threshold was not met betting qualified games alone. Only one game qualified today, as a result the implementation of STRETCH bets will make their debut.
- Three additional STRETCH bets have been added to the card. These are next closest bets to qualify based on eROI.
- The threshold of 4 games for the Daily card has been met.
- The Round Robin will include all 4 games on today’s card.
