August 3, 2023 MLB Baseball Betting Cards details:
No changes to the model today.
A rough couple of days to start August, but the backtested data looks really good so I’m not looking to make any big changes for awhile if this cold streak continues. Always vigilant for improvements, but there were a flurry of them to get us to an all time high in profit at the end of July. Holding the course.

- The threshold of 3 games for the Daily card has been met.
- There will be no Round Robin today as I only want to play those when I have at least 4 qualfied games as the dynamics change a bit when doing different game counts.
- I like 4 game Round Robins as there are 5 different scenarios. Losses at 0 or 1 wins, Wins at 2,3, +4 win combos.
- 3 game RR would remove the edge for Wins as there would be an equal balance of losses at 0 + 1 game wins and and wins at 2 + 3 games.
