August 24, 2023 MLB Baseball Betting Cards details:
No Model changes today.
Those damn Rockies have been killing the card the past month. Luckily the Reds were able to sweep their doubleheader and salvage most of it.
Today’s card:
- The current bet size is 3 units with the churn level at 44.9 games
- The Rockies finally stopped qualifying for the card today, but that’s just prelimnary. If line gets to +200 before Final they could make another appearance with their horrendous bullpen.
- There are 3 games without lines and I only have two qualified bets on the 9 game slate which needs 3 minimum games for a Final card.
- I’ll check back around noon and declare card final with last minute game additions.

- I updated Fangraphs WP% as a few lineups were out and helps improve their projection.
- Colorado Foruntately (Unfortunately based on recent performance) qualified at +225. Today’s their day lol!
- Cincinnati technically moved down to an Unqualified bet based on updated FG WP%, but I needed a 3rd game so they would’ve made the 3rd bet of the day as a STRETCH.
- Also it looks like that WSN line moved big to +175, but I unfortunately placed the bet overnight. I did capture the better odds in the RR so all was not lost in that big move.
