August 22, 2023 MLB Baseball Betting Cards details:
No Model changes today.
Another split day yesterday for some small profit. The RR was a little unprofitable due to the lower odds in the PIT game that hit, but overall a solid push of a day. If you ain’t losing, that’s winning lol.
Today’s card:
- The churn level is at 44.8 games with the current 3 unit bet size game
- Keeping it relatively safe in risk until we can get to 35 churn for 4 units.
- Which is good as Tuesday’s have been bad, last week lost all 7 games for -23 units. Today will have about half the risk due to smaller qualified card.
- Got some usual hitters on the card today with the damn Rockies and Nats leading the card off today. The Rays have been so overpriced this season ever since they opened up with a 13-0 start.
- The Rockies are historically bad on the road and got swept at the Dodgers, but I like the Model here anytime they offer >+200 odds as a big pay day is coming if they pull it off.
- The Nats have been hot and the Yankees have been cold, this seems like a good bounceback spot for the Yanks, but the model still likes the Nats at +165 today.
