I apologize for the late add of Yankees yesterday, i called the card final at noon, but got the urge to review lines again around 6 before first games started. I didn’t expect best line to move up from +130 to +150 by day end but it did. Hopefully most missed it, but I saw the value and wanted to make sure it was on the card as the backtested data looks really good in the current model and the more qualified games to add the better.
August 1, 2023 MLB Baseball Betting Cards details:
No changes to the model today.
Yesterday was a smashing succcess. Introduction of Round Robins had the 2nd best outcome of a 3 out of 4 hit. Resulting in an extra 8.76 units won on 3 units risked. In total the Daily card and Round Robin produced 32.56 units of profit for the best daily win on the season.
Keeping it rolling today as I’m just a hair shy of 100 units won on the season. Last week we were about this close and failed to reach the milestone. Today’s the day!

- Good things come to those that wait, that Oakland line is insane, I was looking for +180 for qualification and FD has it +265. It may be a sucker’s bet, but the Coin Flip factor of MLB says this bet has amazing value.
- The threshold of 4 games for the Daily card has been met.
- The Round Robin has been placed using the first 4 games qualified for the card.
- Again I’m looking to bet half a normal game as extra leverage. Current bet sizes are 7 units on regular games, so the Round Robin is a total of 3 units (Rounded down from 7).
